Since no one has posted something as of yet, I will take the liberty to make the first real post.
I love writing. In fact, I’m passionate about writing, addicted to writing. I just wish I could let it out more, as in, show more people. I’m not entirely sure how good my writing actually is, but my dad says I am very talented, but sometimes I wonder, actually, I wonder a lot. People say they like my stories, but are they just being nice?
I have felt God's definite call to write, Christian fiction and Christian fantasy mostly, and so I am pursuing this goal with my very being; to serve Christ through my stories, that His Word might be spread through it, and through me.
This girl can’t stand being doubted, as in when someone will read a story of mine and say “That was actually good, I’m surprised”. That just really bothers me, and probably all of you who know what I mean. I’m tired of people assuming that I’m just another kid who likes to write, I’m not saying that I’m any differant or better than anyone else, but that people seem to assume right off that its roll playing or stuff like that. It just has me feeling down every now and then...
Jill Williamson and I had a very nice conversation on this very topic this evening! Ness and I are participating in an online writing conference for young writers under 20 years old, Jill was one of the guest teachers. She gave me her email and told me to email her whenever I was feeling down! She is officially one of the people my book will be dedicated to!
